Rapperswil-Hurden, Wooden Bridge, Switzerland

Holzbrücke Rapperswil-Hurden is a wooden pedestrian bridge between the city of Rapperswil and the village of Hurden crossing the upper Lake Zürich (Obersee) in Switzerland - and if you do reach the same - you would be walking in the footsteps of pilgrims.

In the Middle Ages, the pilgrims of St. James used this wooden footbridge with loosely laid planks to cross lake Zurich - also visiting Rapperswil on their way to Santiago de Compostela.
