Indian roofed turtle at Keoladeo National Park is usually found in quiet streams, canals, ponds or man-made water tanks. It is easy to spot turtles in the morning as they enjoy basking in the early morning sun.

Keoladeo National Park houses seven species of turtles out of the ten species of turtles found in Rajasthan - it is common to find the skipper frog and the bullfrog in the wetlands. You may easily catch a python or two basking in the sun and the park also has venomous snakes such as krait, cobra and russell’s viper.
