Crimson Sunbird at Kaziranga National Park, Assam, India

The tiny Crimson Sunbird found in Kaziranga National park are really tiny about 11 cms long. They feed largely on nectar or insects. They access the nectar by hovering like a hummingbird, but usually perch to feed most of the time. Their call sounds like chee-cheewee.

Kaziranga National Park located about 193 km from Guwahati in Assam, India is a Natural UNESCO World Heritage Site. How to reach Kaziranga National Park?
