Mosque of Rani Rupavati at Historic City of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India - A UNESCO World Heritage Site

Rani Rupamati's or Rupavati's Mosque built by Mahmud Begada in the 15th century is a medieval mosque and tomb complex located in Ahmedabad.

With a soaring central arch, three imposing domes supported with rows of twelve pillars each, though cracked at the base in the 1819 Rann of Kutch earthquake, the minarets are still exquisite... Add to that carved galleries and an intricate mihrab - as reasons to visit Rani Rupamati's Mosque in person.
