Se Cathedral Goa, is dedicated to St. Catherine as it stands with its gracious façade facing east to welcome each new day. The towering cathedral church is one of largest amongst all churches and convents of Goa and was built by the Portuguese to commemorate their victory over India. The cathedral is dedicating to Catherine of Alexandria and it houses the Great Golden Bell and the Golden Rose that adds to its spiritual aura as it was received as the benediction of Pope.
