Chateau Mercier, Switzerland
Chateau Mercier is a heritage site - the castle built on a hill, overlooks the town of Sierre located in the Alps, in the Rhone valley.
Built by Merciers in between 1906 and 1908 and designed in the Valdotain style - was donated to Canton of Valais by the Mercier family in 1991 along with its numerous works of art and has been managed by a foundation since then which oversees all its cultural activities.
