Basilica of Bom Jesus is an ancient revered catholic site and it’s greatest treasure - the preserves or the remains of Saint Francis Xavier who was viewed as the Apostle of the East for his work in the evangelization of Asia. The basilica is located in Old Goa which was the former capital of Portuguese India.
