Walensee in Switzerland
Quinten is a hamlet situated on the north shore of the Walensee in Switzerland that is bound at one side by the lake and the other side by steep cliffs of the Churfirsten. One can reach the car free Quinten only by foot from Weesen or Walenstadt and by boat / ship.
Many hiking trails start from Quinten going around Walensee passing through forests, streams, waterfalls and tiny villages.
